Saddle up and journey through lush forests, pristine rivers, and rolling hills, as you explore the rugged beauty of the Mongolian wilderness. During the trek we'll have the opportunity to marvel at the grandeur of Amarbayasgalant monastery. It sets on the southern slope of Burenkhan Mountain in the picturesque valley of Iven River. Architecturally beautiful Amarbayasgalant monastery is one of the three main monasteries in Mongolia, was built between 1727 and 1737 by the Manchu emperor Yongzheng, the son of Kangxi of Manchu (Qing dynasty) commemorating Zanabazar, the first Bogd Gegeen (religious title), leader of Mongolian Buddhism, sculptor, and painter.
Flight to Mongolia and arrive in Ulaanbaatar city at 20:25. Your tour guide will meet at the airport and minibus/bus will transfer to the hotel. Please note 50 km to drive, approximately 3 hours. After check in welcome dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at hotel****. (D)
After breakfast we will visit Gandan monastery. Then drive to a 13th century complex. After lunch, visit to Relay-station camp, educational camp, shaman camp, King Palace and wear Mongolian traditional costumes. Horse riding is an experience. . Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)
Today we will drive 350 km to Barun Buren sum of Selenge province. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)
A full day of hiking along a prepared route accompanied by your guide. There will be plenty of nomadic and wildlife to see. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, we will visit Amarbaysgalant monastery. And explore statues on the two hills.
