Itinerary

DAY 1

Welcome to Mongolia. Our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer to Ulaanbaatar city. After a welcoming dinner at a cozy restaurant, we will check in Bayangol Hotel.

DAY 2

Today we will journey through the Mongolian historical path, the 13th Century Complex, to discover the mysteries of Great Chinggis Khaan. We'll visit traditional villages to immerse ourselves in their culture, nomadic lifestyle, and crafts. Savour the authentic flavors of Mongolian cuisine and enjoy the iconic Mini Naadam Festival, complete with traditional folklore performances. In the evening, under a sky full of stars, we'll indulge in stargazing away from the city lights.

DAY 3

Today, we will start our tour to Terelj National Park after lunch. Enjoy a short hike to the Aryabal Temple, which offers breathtaking views of the park. Then we will drive to the Chinggis Khaan Statue, the largest equestrian statue in the world, standing 40 meters tall and made of stainless steel, symbolically pointing east toward his birthplace. You'll have the opportunity to take a photo in a 13th-century traditional costume. (BLD)

DAY 4

Today we will head west to explore the beautiful Elsen Tasarhai sand dunes, often referred to as the Gobi- type area for their unique desert-like appearance amidst the steppe. On the way we stop by Khustai Nuruu National Park, renowned for its conservation effort, you will have the opportunity to spot the endangered Przewalski’s horses known also as “Tahi”.

DAY 5

After breakfast, we will visit a camel herdsman family and have a unique opportunity to ride a two-humped camel and hike in the beautiful mountains surrounding the area. We will then embark on a journey to Kharkhorin town, where we will explore the rich history at Erdenezuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, established on the ruins of the Great Mongol Empire of the 13th century. This will be followed by a visit to the Karakorum Museum, which preserves and exhibits genuine displays and findings from the city ruins.

Kharkhorin town is located in the historical and legendary Orkhon Valley, which is recognized as Orkhon National Park and is registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. This leg of the journey promises a harmonious blend of natural wonders and historical exploration. (BLD)

DAY 6

After breakfast, take a moment to unwind and immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of the Orkhon Valley. After an early lunch, we will embark on our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. In the evening, enjoy a dinner at one of the finest restaurants in the city, offering a remarkable culinary experience. The day will conclude with a comfortable hotel check-in, where you can relax and recharge. (BLD)

DAY 7

After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time to refresh and relax. Our city tour will begin around 11 AM, starting with a visit to the Chinggis Khaan National Museum and the iconic Sukhbaatar Square. Afterward, you’ll have some time for shopping at a cashmere store. Before dinner, we will stop by the Bogd Khaan Winter Palace Museum, where the eighth Bogd lived with his Queen from the 17th century to the early 20th century. The eight Bogd Jebtsumdamba Khutuktu, recognized as the spiritual leader of Buddhism in Mongolia, resided here. The tour will then continue to the international airport.
