Day 1

Meet at the hotel lobby. (8:30 AM) Tour the Genghis Khan Statue, the world's largest equestrian statue - a 40-metre-tall stainless steel statue that symbolically points east to his birthplace on the banks of the Tuul River in Tsonjin Boldog. Drive to the 13th-century complex. After lunch, we visit the relay station camp, education camp, shaman camp, royal palace, and wear traditional Mongolian clothing. Horseback riding is an experience. Return to Ulaanbaatar. (L)
